Women’s Safety
This project was in response to the Creative Conscience Social Issues Competition. The brief was very open so I had a lot of depth to what I could have produced. I decided to focus on Women’s Safety in the nightlife scene as the UK has seen a huge increase in spiking and sexual harassment this year alone - therefore, it’s a current issue that needs to be tackled and discussed more. I designed a series of screenprinted A2 posters to be displayed in North East venues. I often feel like venues display posters temporarily, which is why I’ve chose to use a large screenprinted format; this gives venues the option to frame / display the posters on a more permanent basis.
