Women in Design
This project was focused on the lack of female representation in the design industry and was informed by primary research such as questionnaires and interviews. 78% of people employed in design are male and this is a statistic that needs to change. The brief was self directed and my main aim was to create a series of campaign posters that inform and educate people of the lack of gender equality in the design industry and the creative sector as a whole. Alongside this, I created a digital platform for female creatives to submit and showcase their work- this was so that these individuals had a space to network and collaborate with one another.
