Jolly Hard Workers
Jolly Hard Workers is a zine and online platform I created for working class creatives to showcase and network with other creatives. It was informed by my essay which looked at the under-representation of individuals from a working class background within the creative industry. Only 16% of people employed in creative roles in the UK are from working class backgrounds. The first issue of the zine contained interviews with Poor Lass Zine and multi-disciplinary designer Raissa Pardini discussing the topic, and the idea for further issues would be that creatives identifying as working class would be able to submit their creative practice to be featured.
