It’s Grim Up North
This Second Year brief was informed by my essay on working class representation within the creative industry; specifically looking at the North East. The publication documents photographs that I've taken of the North East over the years; a lot of which are very neglected and derelict areas, which is a harsh reality within the North East. The publication is hand bound using a Coptic Stitch bind which leaves an exposed spine. This binding technique is to reference my essay and style of photography which both have an exposed feel to it.
